Looking for a decent 538:1 rear axle. Doesn't matter to me whether Dana 41 or 44, so CJ2A, M38, M38A1 or other will work. I don't care about seals, bearings or brakes. As long as the pumpkin and housing is good, I have all the rest.

Obviously an axle would be prohibitive to ship, so would need to either be within reasonable driving distance, or if I am lucky enough someone wanting to sell one who is going to the Fall Reunion in Fulton.

I got one or two i believe. I'll be at the reunion or i live close to the reunion too. $40.00, I'll pull the cover off to make sure it's not a watermelon.

That sounds good. Let me know what you find under the cover.

I dug this axle out, has a little moisture in it. Has some metal in the bottom. It looks like it hasn't had an easy life. The housing looks ok. If you want me to bring it to the reunion, I'll take $20.00 for this one.

At that price how can I refuse ? It is probably salvageable.

I will be easy to spot at the reunion. Big ugly guy, with a green F150 and Tennessee tag. I will be under a black pop up awning.. Probably one of the few, if not the only one, picking a banjo.

Thanks Craig !

I will be able to build a good axle out of it.

I’m confused. I thought the reunion happened on the 10th and 11th of September. Am I misinformed?
