I want to pinstripe my 5 wheels and am looking for a Buegler pin striping tool. I’m open to borrowing, renting, purchasing or possibly trading.
Let Me know if you can help.

I don't have the tool, but I have built a jig out of scrap wood that worked perfectly. Here is a link to one of my project threads at the 3A Page. Scroll about 2/3 down on this page to see photos of my process.
Very simple and the results were good! Edited by athawk11 - 15 Jan. 2023 at 8:59pm |

Wow, your pinstripes look great! I was going to go with the paint pen method but the only paint pen I could find locally was the Testors brand, and it didn’t work well at all. I hadn’t thought of using a Sharpie. Maybe I’ll have to order one of those from Amazon and give it a shot. How are they holding up after, what… 7-1/2 ish years?

I don't have any pictures but about 30 years ago I made a simple jig for pin striping wheels using a paint brush. It was just a piece of scrap plywood with a hole in one end that fit over the dust cap on a rear hub and a notch on the other whey I could steady the brush with my hand. It worked like a compass. That paint filled Sharpie would certainly have been easier but I didn't know about them then.
The wheels on my CJ5 were pinstriped by John S. (Fltfnder) and look pretty good. He said he used a 5 gallon bucket for a guide.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

Screw it. I’ve always wanted to try pinstriping Like the cool hot rod guys so I just ordered a Mack 00 sword striping brush. I figure It shouldn’t be too difficult to do a simple pinstripe on a spinning wheel. Plus I can try my hand at making those cool designs that I’ve always wanted to try.
And if it looks like crap, I’ll wipe it off, figure out something else, and be out like 20 bucks.
