I'm just finishing up putting JPET's gears in a D18 transfer case.  My goal is to run it in October at the Ohio Fall Colors Ride.  I also need to rebuild my T-90 transmission (notorious 2nd popping out), but probably won't have time before the event.  If I stumble across a working T-90 I'll pop it in when I install the transfer case and rebuild mine as time permits.  I'll be at the Northern Ohio Flatfender Gathering September 12 at Bob Christy's.

BARRY:  I have one in a '48 parts jeep.  Been sitting out, but looks intact, in need of blast/clean.  In NE GA.

Thanks guys!  I ended up repairing mine since I already had the transfer case out and was under a time crunch before the Ohio Fall Colors Ride.  Sure is nice being able to have it not pop out of 2nd when going down hill!

OldJeepBob - I've had a bunch of old Jeeps sitting out for years that is my "Parts Fleet".  What I didn't realize is that rain runs down the shift cane and slowly creeps into the transmission then settles to the bottom under the gear lube.  There it rusts the gears.  Every one of mine got ruined.  You may want to take precautions to keep that from happening to yours if it's going to stay outside.

Thanks, Barry.  It will be Godzilla vs. King Kong weather my time or rust wins!
