Are we ready for another show your jeep thread?

I see and know some of your jeeps, but not all. Everyone from back in the day may know these jeeps and may have seen them numerous times, but a bunch of us newer members probably do not know your jeep. Plus how they look changes-paint, tires, canvas tops or roll bars. Re-introduce yourselves.

Show us your 2a's.

WTJ, aka Incrementalism. On the blocks ready for his new trans/tc, tires and brake lines

This is why I used a picture of my Ol' Red as an avatar instead of no avatar or one of this sites screwy generic avatars. My avatar is pretty much like Ol' Red looks right now.

I’ll jump in...
Here’s my ‘46 2A #41511. My first motor vehicle at age 17. It was orange, leopard print seats, vinyl wood grain on dash, otherwise complete and untouched. It’s equiped options, front pass seat, rear pass seat, spare tire, draw bar. Became my daily driver all through college. As well as my fun off-road, mud, hill climb wheeler. Throughly learned 4WD techniques and limitations. Frame off restored & mechanically rebuilt by myself in the ‘80’s (before internet). I had a professional paint.
In the ‘00’s I came across a ‘46 T3C Bantam civilian trailer at a local auction painted as a WW2 tribute. Bought it and frame off restored to civilian. Again, I restored and had a pro shoot the paint.
These two are the foundation cornerstones of my Willys collection which in my retirement has grown.
Willys are great fun to rebuild, restore and to climb into a time machine for a trip back when man and machine operated artfully as one.

This is the most recent picture I have of my 1945 CJ2A #11319

Spring is finally here, and I'm way behind schedule on getting her roadworthy. Hopefully she'll be ready by this Summer! (My apologies for the messy garage LOL)
