The pictures show the vacum for the wiper pulled form where the PVC valve goes. Tapping into any intake area will produce the needed vacum. I would not dissregard the the PVC. You could remove one of the 2 plugs (each end) in the intake and connect you wiper line there. Some came with a duel action fuel pump to provide the wiper vacum. This worked better as you did not loose vacum when you accelrated. One picture shows the hard line into the valve chamber. No vacum here. Extra Info: picture 2 shows where the throttle cable attaches to the carb linkage. Bill
