OK, added my last initial to my user name to avoid confusion with another "Rich" on here. I'm very much a newbie to the older Jeeps, so please have some patience w/me.

I recently purchased a '48 2A in bad need of some TLC. It does run and drive, but the brakes are totally shot. This will be my daily driver, so I want a good braking system on it. After adding up the costs of new drums, wheel cyl, master cyl, etc..., I decided that I may as well upgrade while I'm at it. This will not be a restore, but rather a daily-driven vehicle/fun-mobile/occasional light duty wheeler.

I've read the articles on the 11" upgrade, and the one on earlycj5.com about the chevy front disk swap. The disk upgrade sounds like the ticket for me, but here's my question...

If the chevy rotors/calipers/caliper mounting brackets fit on the front stock hub, can I use the exact same setup on the rear? I have a model '41 rear if it helps. I also plan to get the dual master cylinder kit from herm's too. One more dumb question, if I can put 4 wheel disks on my Jeep, will I need a power booster? I wouldn't think so, but I don't know much about it. I also think I'm going to need an adjustable proportioning valve as well (maybe from Wilwood?)

I'm not sure if it matters, but I plan on putting some 31x9.50x15 TSL radials on my stock wheels since they're 15" wheels.
