The Old CJ2A Page Message Archive

Please see Questions and Answers for some topics that frequently appear on this board. As you can see, this board loads rather slowly. If you are posting something for sale, please remember to include your location since someone who might otherwise be interested might not be able to use a part or a vehicle that is too far away. Posting your location when you're selling something that needs to be hauled will save everyone's time (and reduce the number of posts on this already too-slow message board). Thanks.

Reminds me of the old Wenmdy’s commercial, WHERE’S THE BEEF!
I started reading and contributing to this board from the beginning, can't remember when it started but I was here. Prior to this board, I was a frequent reader of the Willy's Tec board, G501 and the 3B page, actually I heard about this board on the 3B page. When this board got up and running I stopped reading the others, there were a lot of good people here and you could find out just about anything, many of those early guys are gone now, probably others will now too. The Willy's tec and the G501 boards changed and there was just to much overhead for me, click all over the place and WHERE’S THE BEEF!,to find anything, kind of like what this new and improved 2A board has aspired too. I use to sneak on the original 2A board at work and read the posts several times a day and made contact with many people here. I bought parts from all over the U.S. and Canada and managed to trade and sell a few odds and ends too. I think
I was helpful to some of you with your problems, hay I have only played with 2A's since the late 60’s to early 70's. I understand the need for change to the board but this is not my cup of tea. I thank all those who helped me in many ways with my 2A project and apologize to those I may have ruffled their feathers in the past, but that's the past and the CJ2A Message Board has now moved on into the past for me too.
just too much overhead to read anything now.

Hay, I will not let the door hit me in the ass on my way out, maybe I can wave at one of you on the road some time.

Regards Sam
