My 12 year old son (Justin) and I wanted to restore an old Jeep. We bought a 1966 CJ5 with a V6. Then we ran into an old co-worker and asked him if he ever finished his '46 Willys, he said "no, come and get it" ! We did, Free, less motor! we now have 2. Our questions are #1)will the V6 out of the '66 fit in the '46 ? or #2) will the '46 CJ2A body fit on the '66 CJ5 frame ? The tub on the '66 is history, frame and running gear is all in good condition. The '46 body and frame is in great conditon, all though in many boxes ! We just started so we will have many questions.
