I inherited from my Uncle 10 years ago what I was told was a CJ2A Jeep. It had been used at a hunting camp for many years until the land was sold. It had a winch on the front bumper but the welding ,for the winch on the frame destroyed the serial number or at least I can't find it. It has Willys stamped on both sides of the hood and in the center lower portion of the windsheild frame. It has a two peice windsheild and a tailgate. Unfortunately a lot of items have been replaced large tires- 33 x12.50 15LT) to go through the wet areas and the seats came out of an old sports car. It ran great when I first brought it home but it did keep jumpin gout of 3rd gear. I have not had it running in years. Now that I have retired I am interested in restoring this jeep but to find parts I need to know what year and model it is. Any help would be most appreciated.
